I have the Windows DDK installed on XP. When I open the XP x86 Free Build Environment prompt and type 'build /c' I get 6 errors - the first of which is "error U1050: cupsui6: PRECOMPILED_CXX has an invalid value, change it to 1." I downloaded cups-windows-6.0-source.tar.bz2. What should I do?

Get the latest source from SVN.

Are you sure that would solve it? Why would cups-windows-6.0-source.tar.bz2 exist if it didn't build "out of the box"?

cups-windows-6.0-source.tar.bz2 was released a long time ago. We fixed some issues WRT building with newer DDKs but haven't released those changes because the DDK license changed in ways that don't allow us to release an update freely.

I've tried to compile the SVN version today and got the same error. I have
WinDDK 7.1, and

I'm recompiling it because I have this problem with current Windows
drivers:
The Color or Black&White printing selection radio-button does nothing,
printer always prints in the way it is selected in the Advanced settings
instead. (See the screenshots).

I wonder if this issue is fixed in the current svn version of Windows
drivers?
Color/B&W mode is controlled by ColorModel keyword in my printers' PPD
files, maybe I should fix something in the source files to make it work
with my PPDs?
